Node Edit Protection is a great module to protect your content editors from losing their content, while creating a node.

If you've ever spent hours creating an article only to accidentally press the backspace button and lose it all, then this module is for you.

Node Edit Protection warns you before leaving a node edit page, giving you a second chance to save it before it's all gone.

Install this module either through the Drupal by navigating to admin/modules/install or by composer composer require drupal/node_edit_protection. Once you enable the module on the Extend page you are good to go.
